Forensic Science Lab: A Search for Evidence
Posted on 11/10/2016
During this outdoor lab, Mr. Mulvihill's Forensic Science class searched for pennies scattered in the grass as a way of practicing four evidence search patterns--grid, linear, quadrant, and spiral. This lab emphasized the fundamental skill of systematically searching a crime scene in order to avoid missing any evidence. It also demonstrated the difficulty of finding small items even in a defined area.

Forensic Science is a senior elective that includes crime scene analysis, anatomy, ballistics, forensic pathology, and new technologies.
