Victoria Tricoles '21 Earns Silver Award with the Help of Classmates

The Bishop Ahr High School community congratulates Victoria Tricoles ’21 on receiving the Silver Award from the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ. This award is given to individuals who develop and implement a service project that requires at least 50 hours of their time to complete. Victoria chose to help combat the problem of hunger. Victoria collected coupons so that she could give them to various food banks and food pantries throughout Central NJ. The coupons collected were cut out individually with help from other students at BGAHS. No coupon went unused. Victoria gave all of her expired coupons to the military since servicemen and women can use them up to six months after they expire. In addition, to advertise her project, Victoria created a pamphlet explaining all the different ways people could help. She went to local churches and libraries to teach people how they can use and donate coupons to further her cause. Please congratulate Victoria on this distinct honor!
