On Monday, the Girls Bowling Team defeated JFK with a score of 4-0. The team was led by Anne Hoban, who had a high game of 165 and a high series of 439. Amanda Dembowski contributed a game of 144, Katie Eicher added a game of 154, and Lilah Silar rolled a game of 131. Great job ladies!
On Wednesday, the Girls Bowling team defeated Piscataway with a score of 3-1. Katie Eicher led the team with a high game of 194 and a high series of 466. Anne Hoban added a game of 174 and a series of 461.
On Friday, the Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated South River with a score of 79-57. Marquise Billingsly had 17 rebounds, Quadry Adams had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Matthew Panganiban scored 17 points.
Also, the Boys JV Basketball Team defeated South River with a score of 52-51. Ryan Pittari scored 15 points, Christian Verlingo scored 10 points, and Rudy Willis scored 9 points which included a game winning shot. Great job boys!
Also on Friday, the Girls Varsity Basketball Team won against Colonia High School with a score of 64-21. Top scorers were Emma Boslet with 26 points, and Megan Herka with 13 points.
On Saturday, the BGA Track Team competed in the Zebra Indoor Shot Put meet. Medal winners for the boys were Robert Herbert, Jaleel Modesir, Calvin Lovelace, and Devlin Stern. Medal Winners for the girls were Maricruz Azcona, Namoy Azcona, Anna Froelich, and Cecile Molina. Congrats to all!
This weekend, the BGA Wrestling Team began their season with wins from Kyle Orta, Gregory Palanca, Christian Diaz, Simori Simon, Tristan Palyha, Shreyas Keerthi, Robert DeSantis, Jordan Lebron, Freddie Ramirez, and Ian Johnson. Congrats boys!
