The Bishop Ahr Wrestling Team defeated Metuchen on January 23 with a score of 51-30. Wins were scored by Nick Schroll, Aryan Chadwani, Christian Diaz, Samori Simon, Joe Schroll Robert DeSantis, Greg Palanco, Devin Merle, Jordan LeBron, Freddie Ramirez and Ian Johnson.
On Saturday, the Bishop Ahr JV Basketball team defeated South River with a score of 61-35. Top scorers were Ryan Pittari with 15 and Ryan Loftus with 11.
Also on Saturday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated South River with a score of 86-55. Top scorers were Quadry Adams with 21 points and Alex Santiago with 20 points.
On Saturday, the BGA Wrestling team took 2nd place at the Rutgers Prep Tournament. Wins were scored by Armando Cerasani, Christian Diaz, Samori Simon, Tristan Pahlya, Ryan Mohabeer, Robert DeSantis, Devin Merle, Jordan LeBron, Thomas Roarty, Freddie Ramirez, and Ian Johnson.
On Tuesday, January 16, the Boys Wrestling team defeated Carteret. Wins scored by Andrew Roarty, Ian Johnson, Luke Franczak, Armando Cerasani, Christian Diaz, Samori Simon, Tristan Palyha, Robert DeSantis, and Jordan LeBron.
On January 20, the Girls Vasrsity Basketball team defeated Sayreville 64-43. Points were scored by Megan Herka with 20 points, Emma Boslet with 18 points, Sara Decker with 13 points, and Morgan Maguire with 9 points.
On January 23, the Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated South Plainfield with a score of 65-35. Points scored by Emma Boslet with 21 points, Megan Herka with 13 points and Sara Decker with 13 points.
On January 26, the Girls JV Basketball team won against Woodbridge with a score of 66-35.
On January 27, the Girls Swimming team took 6th in the GMC Tournament. Sarah Hardy took 1st in the 200 IM, CJ Trevino/Brianna Dy/Erin Pepe/Sarah Hardy took 1st in the 200 freestyle relay, and Sarah Hardy/Lara Espiritu/Brianna Dy/Erin Pep took 1st in the medley relay.
