Each year, the Bishop Ahr Pro-Life Club sponsors a fundraiser for the Life Choices Resource Center in Metuchen, New Jersey.
The Center offers women free ultra-sounds and positive alternatives to an unwanted pregnancy.
For one week each fall, BGA homerooms fill baby bottles with change. Each homeroom is visited every morning by a Pro-Life Club member who asks students to donate to this worthwhile organization. There is a friendly competition that goes on between homerooms to see who can raise the most money and the winning homeroom receives a breakfast feast.
This year the BGA community raised over $1,000, which was presented by Bishop Ahr students when they participated in the Center’s annual “Walk for Life” on Saturday, October 7.
