First Phase of Science Wing Modernization Debuts
Posted on 12/30/2017
As part of the first phase of Bishop Ahr High School's science wing modernization project, the Makerspace opened on Tuesday, December 19 during a ceremony attended by school leaders, Bishop Checchio, Superintendent Ellen Ayoub, architects, and the donors whose generosity helped make the project a reality.

During the ceremony, Sr. Donna spoke to the importance that BGAHS places on keeping up with the every-changing educational landscape. Bishop Checchio reaffirmed the importance that Catholic education plays in modern society as it strives to form the whole person, starting with academics but also focusing on athletics, arts, spirit, and social opportunities. Mr. Rasweiler addressed the students, stressing how important it is to use what they learn at BGAHS to serve the greater good.

We look forward to the world-class educational opportunities that the Makerspace and the further science wing enhancements will offer our students in the years to come.

Donations are still being accepted and your support is greatly appreciated. Visit bgahs.org/donate to explore giving opportunities.
