Operation Christmas Child Spreads Cheer to the Poor
Posted on 11/29/2017
Thank you to the Bishop Ahr Families who participated in the CSAC Operation Christmas Child activity. Approximately 150 shoeboxes filled with a variety of gifts such as toys, school supplies, hygiene items, socks, hair clips, mints, gum, and other gifts will be sent to poor children in developing nations.

Operation Christmas child is a unique worldwide outreach of Samaritan’s Purse. Each year this organization share’s God’s love with millions of poor, sick, and suffering children by hand-delivering these shoeboxes.

These Christmas presents not only bring great joy to precious girls and boys, they also open hearts to bring the Good News of God’s love to millions of hurting children and their families. This project is personal – a shoebox is as unique as the person packing it!  Most of the children receiving the gifts come from families that are not able to give them Christmas presents. For most of them, these are the first gifts they’ve ever received.  They will never forget it.

Thank you for bringing God’s love to His most precious gift – children!
