Students Participate in Seeds of Hope Leadership Experience

June 18th found five students from Bishop Ahr High School, Edison, NJ, travelling to the Maryville Retreat Center, Holly, MI to participate in Seeds of Hope: The Felician Youth Leadership Experience.  This was a weeklong leadership workshop for high school girls entering their sophomore and junior years in the fall of 2017.  This unique leadership program was sponsored by the Felician Sisters of North America.  The five students from BGA who participated were Morgan Frazee ’19, Faith Dodge ’20, Jaleena Findley ’20, Carolyn Foley ’20 and Victoria Lienhard ’20.

There were 24 participants in the program.  Besides the five students from Bishop Ahr High School, there were girls from Ladywood High School in Livonia, MI, Pomona Catholic High School in California, St. Augustine High School in Laredo, TX, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Coraopolis, PA, and Immaculate Conception High School in Lodi, NJ
