Students See Sistine Chapel Up-Close-and-Personal
Posted on 10/10/2017
Bishop Ahr High School World History and Western Civilizations students took a field trip to see a life-size recreation of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel, one of mankind’s greatest artistic achievements.

The ceiling paintings from the Sistine Chapel have been reproduced in their original size using state-of-the-art technology and are on exhibit for visitors to see up-close-and-personal.

The Renaissance period and its artwork is an important topic that will be covered in these classes this year and this limited-time exhibit was a perfect opportunity for our students.
